Hi there. I’m trying to enable a menu in a left sidebar that corresponds with the content in a text block on the right. I have enabled the smooth scrolling plugin but it’s not functioning properly.
Additionally, the overall goal of this is to keep the sidebar menu on the left side static and have the content scroll UP to the top of the page. Ideally, this would also have an arrow up at the bottom right of the menu item indicating to “go to top”.
So… that said, how do I accomplish all this? *brain music in background…. Help Me, Rhonda, HELP! HELP! Me Rhonda….*

Thanks for posting in! Smooth scrolling plugin allows you to manage the physics of your scroll bar! This fun effect is great if you happen to have a lot users who utilize a mousewheel. This plugin doesn’t relate to your layout because the sidebar on the page is just simply a column. And regretfully there isn’t a feature offered by X that you can have a left side static sidebar. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

Thank you for replying in any event. 🙂
April 2, 2016 at 3:03 am #863575PS – Quite off topic but I need to ask… Is there something I need to do to get notified of replies to topics? I was very surprised I wasn’t notified of the reply to THIS post via email. I’ve checked my profile to make certain my email was correct and indeed, it is. So, going forward, is there something secondary I need to do to make sure I get notifications for topics I post?
