Hi, I am running into several Slider Revolution issues since it updated last week.
1) The slide link feature under “Link & Seo” does not work. I’ve set the link but the banner is not clickable on the page.
2) The slide freezes in a middle of the animation and does not complete. The banner doesn’t transition to the next page. (Refer to Image 1)
3) Banner does not show up on Safari 10.0 (Refer to Image 2)Best,

Are you using CloudFlare or may have installed a caching plugin like WordFence, W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache? Please keep in mind that after doing every updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
To properly setup the link in the slider, please check out the documentation:

Yes, we are using a caching plugin and we are clearing cache after each save. I checked the documentation and it looks like I am following everything properly..

CalvinOctober 31, 2016 at 3:49 am #1237548Hello There,
I’d recommend that you clear your caching plugin, and disable it during development. This can cause Customizer changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Hope this helps.

Do you consider.. updating the slider revolution slides as ‘development’ work? Isn’t it more of a routine update and do I need to turn off the caching plugin every time I want to update the slider?
I didn’t have this problem before and I am wondering why this is happening. The problem still has not been resolved : /

November 1, 2016 at 3:41 am #1238862Hey Calvin,
Yes, performance plugins including caching can cause issues so they are best cleared and deactivated before doing updates in your site because themes and plugins have breaking changes from time to time. With that said, please deactivate all performance plugins or best if you could deactivate all third party plugins while we investigate. If you could not do this, please copy your site over to a development server so we could test out solutions without affecting your live site.
Thanks.

CalvinNovember 2, 2016 at 8:46 am #1240733Hi There,
Your slider seems to be working fine on my end on every browser including Safari.
The link on the slider of image 1 works fine.
All the sliders are transitioning well.
I recommend you cleaning your browser cache and testing again.
If you feel some of the timing is strange, please try re-adjusting the timing, they have made a major update regarding this.
If you think you are facing a bug, and there is a bug happening in a few isolated installations, I would recommend you to downgrade your plugin.
To do that, download it from the link below, access your website via FTP and access wp-content/plugins/ remove the folder revslider and substitute for the one containing on the zip file.

Hope it helps,
November 10, 2016 at 12:12 am #1251202After I downgraded, everything works fine now.
I better hold off on the upgrade until I figure out what is going on..
Thanks for your help Joao.
