PolaradventuresParticipantI tried to update the Slider Revolution plugin through the automatic update. Cornerstone was also in the update que and updated without any problems. However when it was trying to update Slider Revolution the site/update got stuck in maintaince mode (I waited 1 hour), which I had to remove manually through FTP. After that the Slider Revolution plugin cannot be activated anymore. When I tried to update it again the plugin removed itself and is no longer in the plugin list.
The plugin is still showing up in the plugin folder via FTP. However, through X – Addons I am able to click “install”. I do not want to lose my sliders that I previously created. This is of extreme importance!
My site heavily relies on Slider Revolution. Please fix this, since it was induced by the newly released update.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Please take a backup of your sliders (https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/import-export-replace/) and provide us with your FTP credentials to check your current setup.
Thanks!

JackKeymasterHi there,
Thanks for writing back.
I’ve tried to login with the provided FTP details but get a “Login Incorrect” error, can you double check the provided details please?
In the meantime, please go to your Themeforest dashboard > downloads, next to X, click download and pick all “All files and documentation”. Unzip the package and go to “Extensions” find the Revolution Slider zip and unzip that. Now connect via FTP and drag the Revolution Slider folder to your wp-content/plugins folder on your WordPress site. And see if it correctly shows in the WordPress Admin Dashboard.
Thank you!

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for the credentials, I just check your /wp-content/plugins/revslider/ directory and see that lots of files are missing. Please delete that folder (revslider).
Then upload the revslider folder from the extracted revslider.zip file.
This should not delete the sliders that you’ve created. However we do always suggest to backup, since you can not export your sliders please backup your whole site including the database.
Hope it helps, Cheers!
