November 8, 2015 at 9:38 am #656962I too am having problems with Slider Revolution. It’s in the list of extensions at Addons/Extensions but when I click to install I’m getting the following error messages:
”
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from http://www.ficooper.com/wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins/revslider.zip…Download failed. Failure when receiving data from the peer
”
Is there somewhere I can download it outside of wordpress – I thought I’d seen somewhere but can’t find it again now. This seems to be a common problem though – it’s the same error message. Cheers FionaNovember 8, 2015 at 1:46 pm #657146Hi There,
You can upload the plugin via FTP and activate it via Dashboard > Plugins page, if you ever see this error in future.
The plugin can be found in the wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins
1. Unzip “revslider.zip”
2. Upload “revslider” folder into your “plugins” directory (ROOT/wp-content/plugins/)
3. Navigate to WP Dashboard > Plugins and acivate “revslider” plugin.Hope that helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.

Thanks for writing in, normally you’ll get the “Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias agency-home not found” error when Revolution Slider isn’t activated before importing the demo content.
Re-importing the demo content should work fine
Let us know if you still have any issues and we’d be happy to help (if you could start a new thread please and include a link back to this one, as your issue is different from the original issue in this thread).
Thank you!

January 28, 2016 at 7:18 am #768725Hi, I’m having the same problem too. Unfortunatly i also don’t see the “revslider.zip” in the wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins folder via ftp. I only see cornerstone.zip file. Is there any other way to get the revslider.zip file?
Thnx in advance!
January 28, 2016 at 7:38 am #768756False alarm, I found the revslider.zip file in the url given when you see the ‘failed to install plugin’ screen. It now installed succesfully manually, so never mind!
January 28, 2016 at 12:32 pm #769194Glad that you figured it out already. Feel free to let us know if you face any other issue. We’ll be happy to assist you.
Cheers!

thank you,April 2, 2016 at 3:28 am #863597Hi There,
Thanks for updating this thread! All the replies on this thread may no longer apply to your site. We have changed how you can install the extensions in X. You must validate X first before you can see all the list of plugins in X Addons > Extensions section. Please go to your account and assign the license to your domain. Once the license is assign, you need to copy the license and paste it in X Addons > Home
Once X is already validated, you can scroll down the page in the extensions section and you can see the complete lists of bundled plugins for you to install in your site.
Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.
April 4, 2016 at 10:17 am #866083yes X is already installed and well activated.

April 4, 2016 at 4:41 pm #866627Hi. i downloaded the latest version, 4.4.1 released on March 30th. I looked in the folder x.zip\x\framework\plugins\ and I do not see the slider plugin. Just the cornerstone plugin.
Update: Nevermind. I’m blind/should read documentation, heh.
