Just purchased this theme, installed the church demo content – everything else appears to be fine but the Slider Revolution. When i click on Slider Revolution – I get an error that says “not activated” also there is a notice at the top of the page “Hi! Please activate your copy of the Essential Grid to receive automatic updates”

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! “not activated” is simply a warning that the plugin is not activated. You’ve got nothing to worry about this. The plugin will work just fine. There is no need to register your license for Revolution Slider. In fact, doing so is discouraged in order to prevent any potential conflicts when updating, as previously mentioned. If you happen see a notification in your WordPress admin panel asking you to register Revolution Slider upon activation, simply dismiss this notice.

Please check out our knowledge base to know more how we utilize the slider revolution plugin in X theme.

    Hope this explain it briefly.

    Hi there,

Automatic updates are only available for X theme & Cornerstone. For other extensions that comes with X, you don’t need to register or buy license. You can install the latest compatible versions of those extensions through X Addons section.

We have added the X compatible version numbers of those extensions on our changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/), so always check before updating an extension manually to avoid any incompatibility issues.

    Hope that’s clear.
