yhshin1020ParticipantHey,
I’m using a slide revolution slide on my website, and I would like to mute the video that is being displayed on the home page.
Reading through other posts, apparently youtube videos cannot be muted and I would have to self-host my own videos.
How do I go about doing this? I’d imagine that I would have to get a mp4 file and then create a videos directory in my ftp home directory and place it there? Even so, how do I link to my self-hosted video on slider revolution since there is no option for one?
Thanks.

JadeModeratorHi there,
If you want to use a self-hosted video in Revolution Slider, you can select the HTML Video option under the Source section. Then you can upload the video you want to use or select it if it’s already uploaded.

yhshin1020ParticipantHey,
I’ve used a file convertor to convert a youtube video into a .webm file, and i’ve uploaded it to my wordpress site.
However, my website does not display the video and instead just shows a black screen. Why is this so?
Also, can I upload a MP4 video?
Thanks!
