    I’m receiving the following error after a recent update (WordPress says there are no updates that need to be installed).

    Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include.
    This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.

    To fix it you can:
    1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true.
    2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.

    I turned off caching in Wordfence to make sure that was not the problem, and when I look at the Chrome Inspect tool I see the 404 errors when loading the following files:

    /wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/css/settings.css?ver=5.2.5.3
    /wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js?ver=5.2.5.3
    /wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.tools.min.js?ver=5.2.5.3

    Not sure what I’m going wrong here, but I can’t seem to figure out how to update the theme to include the missing files.

    Hey Nathan,

    Did you clear all caches before deactivating WordFence? Also, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    Not sure how my initial forum search didn’t turn up the following thread, but I found the answer here:

    There was a problem with the theme update that didn’t unpack resources for Revolution Slider.

    This is an issue that happened in a very few case that none of us could replicate on our setups and we are still investigating what is causing that.
