I have followed different tutorials and post of this forum. I think the problem is that Slider Revolution has changed a lot during the last year. So firstly let’s take a look of the attached screenshot:

I have configured the above part of the Slider Editor (part 1 of the screenshot) with Vimeo, but it is not working as I want:

1) It does not loop (it is configured as: source settings – loop video – loop, slide does not stop).
2) It shows the first image of the slide before the video loads. I have tried to remove it with no luck (even with the css code suggested in this post)
3) The shadow is not applied to the video, it is only applied to the mentioned above first image (configured at: slider settings – layouts & visuals – shadows).
4) It does not show anything in the mobile devices. I want it shows the carousel of images instead of the video.

After reading the hopefully updated docs of Revolution Slider, specifically this: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/video-layers/ , I’m starting to think that the above part of the Slider Editor (part 1 of the screenshot) is useless. I’m starting to think that we have to use the below part of the Slider Editor (part 2 of the screenshot).

Just tell me (and anyone who read it after me) that I’m in the correct way to do it. Must I use the below part to do the 4 things? Please give me some orientation! :/

I have been able to solve the points from 1 to 3 following your provided link 🙂

Hi There,

Have you tried to setup a cover image? This image should be shown while your video suppose to be playing but is not shown on mobile.

Please see images attached.

I did that but in the above part of the screenshot you have attached. The problem is that the cover is showed during a second before the video actually loads and I don’t like that. I have asked about that issue in a separated post too: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/show-poster-image-in-mobile-only/

How about you take the very first frame of the video as your cover? That way the transition from cover image to video is not noticeable.
