Hi, Slider Revolution appears to be broke after the recent update. The slides are not loading at all on any of my pages. The area just appears gray.

The slider is working fine, I check it in Chrome, FireFox and IE, please see the attachment.
Please clear cache and check again.
Thanks.

October 27, 2016 at 9:20 am #1233197Hi TJ,
I have tested on Chrome and Firefox PC and it is working fine on my end.
Which browser(with version) and device you are using while experiencing the issue?
Thanks
Joao
October 27, 2016 at 9:39 am #1233219Joao this is the same issue that is acknowledged by Themeco staff on the front of the forum in the alert section at the top. Revslider is broken on the current version. The only way to get it working is to revert to an older version.
October 27, 2016 at 11:18 am #1233406Hi
We know there “were” problems and we are trying to figure out why it is happening in a few installations we have released two updates together with Theme Punch hoping the issue would have been fixed with it, unfortunately it seems it is not, the number of complaints decreased, and unfortunately it is kind of tricky, because for example, his website is working fine on my end, so knowing which exactly browser and device he is using so we can test in the same conditions is essential.
Thanks,
Joao
October 27, 2016 at 11:33 am #1233429I am using a MacBook Pro with Chrome browser. But I have also checked with Safari and Firefox. I also had people in my office check with an iMac. I haven’t been able to check a PC.

Forwarding this for further investigation, please stay tuned.
Thanks!
October 28, 2016 at 4:18 am #1234536Hi there TJ,
I’ve checked this on a Macbook and iMac on Chrome, Safari and Firefox and everything looks to be working correctly.
Is it still not working your end? If it’s not, do you have any browser add-ons enabled etc?
Thank you!
October 31, 2016 at 7:02 am #1237741It is still not working on my end. I have browser add-ons enabled on Chrome, but not Firefox or Safari. The slider is not working properly in any browser on my end. I have also had other computers in my office check the site and it’s not working properly for them either.
October 31, 2016 at 8:49 am #1237826Hi TJ,
Since your slider is working fine on our end PC and MAC and Theme Punch did not provide yet a new update fixing the possible issues I would reccomend you downgrading your Revolution Slider until the next release which should come soon.
To do that access your website via FTP and on wp-content/plugins/ substitute the folder revslider for the folder contained on the zip from from the link below :
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5poy9ywysds1tfr/revslider%20%281%29.zip?dl=0
You won´t lose any of your sliders because all your creations are stored on the database.
Thanks,
Joao
October 31, 2016 at 8:54 am #1237833On my end activating Rev Slider on a new WordPress install results in a blank website. Just adding another issue to this. Though this has nothing to do with the current issues, I have noticed over the years that many problems regarding updates and compatibility seem to happen with Rev Slider.
October 31, 2016 at 9:41 am #1237913Hi There,
Thanks for your input.
I understand your concern, Revolution Slider is quite a complex plugin, it is amazing, but at this moment we are facing some issues in some isolated installations.
In the meanwhile until the next update, which hopefully will fix all the issues, please follow the instructions above.
Thanks for understanding,
Joao
