Hi, Slider Revolution was included when I bought this theme, but it’s asking me to enter a product validation key.
I visited their website and found out that since I’m a non-direct buyer, I don’t get a product validation key? Should I have to buy an additional license for this?
January 13, 2016 at 12:56 am #743804Hi There,
Thanks for posting in and using X.
Please do check this article:https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-revolution-slider/There is no need to register your license for Revolution Slider if you happen to have one. In fact, doing so is discouraged in order to prevent any potential conflicts when updating, as previously mentioned. If you happen see a notification in your WordPress admin panel asking you to register Revolution Slider upon activation, simply dismiss this notice.
Always,
XJanuary 13, 2016 at 4:27 pm #744962Thank you for that. However I’m trying to access the templates that should already be included with the purchase. Whenever I try to download one of the templates, it’s informing me that I need to activate/register.
January 13, 2016 at 6:55 pm #745165Hi there,
You can get the free example slider templates from the following link (http://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/).
However to access their premium sliders, you need to purchase the license directly (http://revolution.themepunch.com/direct-customer-benefits/).
Thanks!
April 2, 2016 at 2:31 am #863558Hi, I’ve got X activated and Rev Slider installed.
Problem is I can’t activate it from the dropdown menu.
Only shows one option which is Deactivated as shown in the screenshot.
How can I activate/enable the slider on a page?

You have to create some sliders first, then go back to this page:
