Hi all,

Has anyone else had the issue with slider revolution saying that it needs to have a valid license key?

I’ve activated, deactivated, tried various things, but it still says it’s unlicensed.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Did you install Rev slider via the bundled extensions? If you did then it should not prompt you for that. However, depending on your setup, there are users that get this message. You don’t need a license though as the bundled rev slider should work fine with all it’s functionality without a license. If you are getting the message, it should be safe to ignore, unless something is obviously not functioning. Then we would need to check if something went wrong during install.

The are some features like auto import of free sliders and of course support from ThemePunch that you will need a license for. However, sliders can be downloaded from the slider exchange site and manually and then installed.

I haven’t noticed any functions not working yet but the message was showing so I wasn’t sure.

The current X compatible version of Revolution Slider is v5.1.6 (https://theme.co/changelog/) which you can install it through X Addons section on the WordPress backend.
