    When my home page is initially visited and slider rev loads small white boxes flash in the middle of the first slide, but not the following 2 slides. When the slider repeats these white boxes no longer appear on the 1st slide. Visit another site page and return to home page it occurs again. I’m stumped.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! Can you please try updating it to v5.2.4.1. Make sure to take a backup of your sliders before proceeding.

    I can’t update rev via dashboard. Age old folder permission issue. I did a clean reinstall of rev ver 5.2.3.5. Updated WP to 4.5.1. Deleted and recreated a new slider of same images. No joy. 🙂

    Hello There,

    Thanks for the updates. I think the square white box is the loading spinner. You can totally get rid of it by adding this css in your customizer, Appearance > Customize > Custom > CSS

    .site .tp-loader.spinner0 {
    display: none !important;
}

    Please let us know if this works out for you.
