Is there a way to get a slider carousel in the renew theme that would just showcase images and not posts? So basically I want 4 images together and then for it to scroll left with a new set of images.

Also, I have created a new revolution slider, but I cannot get the transitions to change…any help would be appreciated!

1) What kind of Carousel Slider do you want? 🙂
a) You can use slider shortcode to build sliders with only image as shown here: http://theme.co/x/demo/renew/1/shortcodes/responsive-slider/ (Example & their shortcode).
b) or You can create a Revolution slider Source Type: as Gallery with thumbnail options. It’s better to show us an example so we can provide suggestion more specifically.
2) Your site: brun8652.com is currently showing coming soon page to me, so I was unable to investigate if it’s a front end issue or not. Meanwhile check the General Settings & Navigation settings on the right side of Slider Settings page.

Are you referring the Ethos post carousel? That is only possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer, or a service like WerkPress or Tweaky to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
You could also use 3rd party plugins. Some features are only specific to each stack and we can’t mix stack as it may cause more issues, so what you need is a developer with dedicated time.
