    I completed the process to assign api subdomain but still getting error message when trying to update x-theme and 2 plugins (addons).

    Before I continue, Is it okay if I do the test update directly to that site? Is it a live site, I’m not going to do it on a live site.

    And please backup your site.

    yes. it is a live site but it’s fine to do it because I’ve created a backup and cloned the site to a temporary domain.,

    I tried to assign the license to another URL as well as a development site.
    qt-consultants.com

    pwgrealestate.qt-consultants.com

    even tried another site
    skincarebynatalie.com

    I keep reading through the forums and have tried everything. I have even deactivated x and reactivated.
    Now I cannot edit my site and the site on my subdomain. I click delete and the YEP button does not work.

    Tried one more troubleshooting task.

    I created another subdomain titled pwg.qt-consultants.com
    Assigned to this new URL.
    got the message “SITE ASSIGNED”
    Tried updating x-theme. No luck still.

    you have my logon, password and domain names. even the sub domains i’ve tried.

    Hello There,

    Please make sure that after assigning the license to your site url (or sub domain), you also need to validate X. Please do the following:
    1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
    2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
    3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
    4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

    And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/

    You show that this screen will appear when I go to

    I see this screen with 4 links and none of the 4 links take me to a page allowing me to revoke.

    2nd link link 1 (attached below), Product API key takes me to the login page
    the third link is tutorial here
    and the 4th link is product validation

    I did that

    did this countless times

    4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.
    Where exactly do I do this. There is nowhere to insert the license. Your directions do not work. Do you mean the API key?

    And I have reviewed the article on the updated process… multiple times.

    I’ve been trying since 04.20.16 to fix this problem. Not sure what to do next.

    Hi Jane,

    It looks like you still have the older version of the theme.

    Please update your theme and cornerstone to latest versions

    The latest version numbers as of this time are

    X Theme 4.4.2
    Cornerstone 1.2.4

    omg. are you kidding me? that’s what i’m trying to do and it won’t let me because it’s not validated.

    When I try to update X=Theme (see screenshot below) it won’t update because it’s not validated.
    So I click on validate X-Theme and it takes me to this page (screenshot titled “When I click on validate”).

    I’m right back to square one.
