We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
January 7, 2016 at 7:05 am #735785Hi, how can I make sidebar only on blog posts?
January 7, 2016 at 9:54 am #736003Hi @pedantas
Thanks for updating the thread. Kindly follow the previous reply – https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/sidebar-on-blog-posts/#post-125300
Also check the Sidebar walkthrough for better understanding – https://community.theme.co/kb/unlimited-sidebars/
Your Content Layout must be set to Content Left, Sidebar Right or Sidebar Left, Content Right and your Blog Layout must be set to Use Global Content Layout. For your pages not to have a sidebar, you must choose a page template that has no sidebar. The default page template will have a sidebar in this case because it’ll get the setting of the Content Layout.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers!

February 12, 2016 at 9:53 am #793037This was originally posted 1.5 years ago and there’s still no way to add a specific sidebar to every single blog post at once?? The solution you gave isn’t a solution.. no one wants to sit there and click EVERY blog post 1 by 1 in the “manage sidebars” screen AND we have to remember to go back and click it for all future posts.

February 14, 2016 at 7:54 am #795070Up vote for this functionality – I think it’s a reasonable assumption that the check box for child page would include the sidebar on post pages when setup on the index page.

Your feedback has been duly noted.
Cheers.
April 12, 2016 at 6:09 am #878055I also have set-up a sidebar for the blog only. It appears on the blog index. Great. But the only way I can get it to appear withing the posts is by manually selecting each post. Couldn’t there be an option for “all posts” and “all pages” or something like this?
I see there’s this option: “Enable parent page sidebar on child pages” but that doesn’t do it.There’s also an option to select taxonomies, so I thought maybe having a generic category for all posts and selecting this would be a workaround, but that doesn’t seem to have any effect?
Is there a solution to have my sidebar on all post’s automatically?
Thanks,
Ian.
April 12, 2016 at 11:10 am #878554Hi Ian,
Thanks for updating the thread but it’s not a great place to find help. Kindly open a new thread with your problem and provide your login information in a separate private reply.
The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
July 23, 2016 at 1:50 am #1099630Hello, is there any update on this? I just want to place a single sidebar on all posts.
I am running x-theme 4.6.
No sidebar here:

Sidebar here:

I need the News and archive sidebar on each individual host.

Mike.July 23, 2016 at 2:17 am #1099660Hi Mike,
Thanks for writing in! There is a sidebar on the single post but its empty, did you happen to create a custom sidebar and assign that on your single post?
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.
