Hello @petermcneice
You can set different page template for your pages. From your page editor, just select the template you want to use –
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
July 13, 2015 at 4:01 pm #329066I tried that, but no change.
Selected content left, sidebar right.
July 13, 2015 at 5:00 pm #329129This is an obvious bug in my opinion. You should be able to have a no sidebar default template, then enable sidebars on specific pages. This is especially true if you want to support major template related plugins like “Views”.
July 13, 2015 at 5:29 pm #329157That’s what I’m hoping to achieve. Sidebars added when needed. So far, can’t get it work.
I’ve tried the default sidebar and added a new one, but can’t get either to show up with the layout set as content left, sidebar right.
Is there a conflict with Cornerstone and the page template possibly?
Hoping you guys can help with this.
July 13, 2015 at 10:04 pm #329317Hey Peter,
Please give us admin access to the site concerned so we could check your setup. I suspect your Content Layout is set to Fullwidth that is why you cannot enable a page template with Sidebar.
Thanks.
July 14, 2015 at 7:38 am #329766Ok, that was definitely the problem! I thought I needed it to be the other way around, with the content layout set to full width and then individual pages set to sidebar. Oops.
So now I’ve changed it and added a sidebar to several pages. Thanks for the help with that!
All I wanted to add to the sidebar is a list of my pages, with some hidden. But strangely, I can’t seem to hide my About Us, Contact Us or my homepage. I can hide my other pages, but not those 3. Any idea why this might be the case/
Thanks again.
– Peter.

September 13, 2015 at 7:55 pm #387598Hi. I’ve tried all of the above things. And my blog, which is one of only two pages I want a side bar doesn’t have one. The widgets seem fine.
September 13, 2015 at 10:58 pm #387712Hi @jeduhu
I have noticed you already opened a topic for that. If the given workarounds from this thread doesn’t help you, then you don’t need to comment on this thread as you have another open thread for same topic.
Thanks
