John MichaelParticipantHi, for some strange reason I cannot get the correct side bar to show up, even though I’ve done this already many times and use the exact same set-up. My theme, plugins etc seem to all be up to date so not sure what else is the issue here.
Please watch this short video that walks you through the issue: http://somup.com/cbeFbMRdb
Thanks,

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! The “Insiders Profit Society” page is already a child page. This page will have to follow the settings of the parent page. This maybe the cause why it is showing the Clients sidebar and not the sidebar you are hoping to see. Please trace back your parent and child pages as this may have in conflict with other sidebar settings you may have.
Hope this helps.

John MichaelParticipantWell the clients page has different settings cause its the main page for all clients.
Then each client accesses their purchased products and needs a different side bar to be able to navigate through the pages for the specific product. I need those settings different as they’re set?
Done the same thing numerous times before with other programs and worked fine. E.g. with this product:

How to fix this please? Seems like a glitch, if working for some products / pages with same settings and not for others.
Thanks,

John MichaelParticipantI even checked the “Insiders Profit Society” under the ‘Clients’ sidebar which I forgot to do, like with all my other products which have the same set-up and still won’t show up 🙁
Please help me sort this out, need to launch this product asap and stuck here for 3 days now!
Thanks,

Rue NelModeratorHey John,
Thanks for updating in! It took me a while to investigate the sidebars. There seems to be a conflict with the sidebar assignments. I would highly recommend that in the Clients sidebar, you make sure that it will not be applied to the child pages and that it is not assigned to that page also as if you are assigning a sidebar to page mora than once which may create conflict or future issues. Only assign one sidebar at one page especially if that page is also a child page of another page because it will result to a complicated condition which may no longer coincide with what sidebar you really wanted.
