Hi! I was wondering if there is a way to display all blog posts in a grid format similar to the recent posts shortcode but I want to show more posts and have arrows at the bottom for older or newer posts. This would be under my slider on my home page. I currently have it set up to show recent posts which I love but it only allows you to show a max of 4 posts and I would like readers to be able to see all posts. Thank you!! 🙂

    Hi Jessica,

    Thanks for writing in.

For the grid format, you need to choose masonry under blog options in the customizer.

You can set the number of posts shown in WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading.

Can you provide us your url for future reference.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you, I don’t think that will work for what I’m trying to do because I need to keep it set to a static page with my Rev slider on top and I want the posts to show below the slider. If I change it to latest posts I lose my Home page. Any other ideas?

    Hi Jessica,

If you want to use a static page & call all the post with pagination then you need to use a plugin. Try this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/

Thank you, I installed the plugin. What type of element do I select from visual composer to paste the shortcode into?

Ok, so I figured it out but I’m not liking the style of the posts on the home page. Is there a way I can display the blog posts on my static home page in the same style it is on the blog page? I just want to pull that exact layout/style of the blog posts under my slider on my static home page. Does that make sense? Thanks! 🙂

    Hi Jessica,

I am sorry but I didn’t find any blog post in your home page
and I can’t find your blog.

Can you provide us the url of the blog page and your static home page.

    Thanks

Its not set up yet because I can’t get it to show on the static home page. I’m not sure why you would need to see it to understand the problem and help me. The home page is listed above kingscrossauto.com

I need a plugin or some type of code that will allow the integrity theme “Blog” roll to run under my rev slider on my static home page. But I want the same style that integrity uses, not a plugin style. I tried a plugin and it just doesn’t look custom enough its very plain and outdated looking.

    Hi Jessica,

You can’t show regular blog posts with pagination in a static page as like the main blog page.

Now, tell me you a work around. Hope you’ll like.

Make the blog index page as your home.

Add the revoultion slider above the blog page content. If you say yes, I’ll be happy to assist you on this.

Go to Settings -> Reading and choose static page and choose a page you have previously made for the Blog page. On this page choose the Revolution Slider as needed. I hope this helps.

You’re awesome! Thank you! One more question, how do I make the images on each blog post smaller, they are huge
