Hi,

I use Essential grid and Cornerstone. I would like to use filters and sorting with mij grid. The filter shortcode is working but the filter isn’t. Could u help me with this problem?

Thank you. First off all. I don’t see the grid in cornerstone. The element is looking in empty only if I save it and look at the page I see the grid. Second I only want to use a shortcode for another filter. Only the ‘sort’ shortcode isn’t working.

Thanks for providing the information. I have logged in and checked the page. Regretfully I do not see any grid on the page. Are you editing the “share” page? Please point us to the right page.

And by the way, I recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */

I add the code, but it didn’t do anything. I mean the page: http://inclusivedance.eu/share/all/

Now it look likes the page: http://inclusivedance.eu/share/ also has a grid on it. But in cornerstone you can’t see it.

Hi there,

Shortcode filter is not even working on standard content (non-cornerstone) so it’s not related to the cornerstone. There are threads similar to this, but it’s likely a bug from Essential grid. We’ll investigate further, for now, please use the filter options within Essential Grid.

Hi,

this sounds relevant to my issues. I have Essential Grid working nicely in a page. Now I want to at navigation along the side of the page. I’ve made ShortCodes for Sort, Search, and Filter. The Filter ShortCode works every time, the other two don’t appear on the page in any fashion.

I have created a two column section for the layout and in the column I wish to see the navigation items I have inserted the Ess. Grid ShortCodes via a single Text element, multiple Text elements, and via widgets in the Main Sidebar section of the Widget page, then using the corresponding Widget element in Cornerstone.

I always get the same result; Filter works, the others don’t show up.

Hello There,

I have already tested the shortcode in the page. I have added this:

[ess_grid_nav id="filter"  alias="share-basis"]

and 

[ess_grid_nav id="sort"  alias="share-basis"]

This could be a bug in Essential Grid plugin. We will be contacting the creators of the Essential grid and let them do their own test regarding this issue.

I still have another question. When I’m in Cornerstone I can’t see the grid. (Both when I choose the Essential grid or raw content element) When I save the page and view the page I see the grid is there. Is this a bug to? I doesn’t work handy when I use a lot of grids.

I removed all the images and disabled the security plugin. Their is still ann error. Would u like to check again?
