    Just installed X onto a new system, and many images seem to be broken (see attached — X image under appearance/themes is not working, and there are many more).

    I have installed and run X previously and not had this issue. In this instance, I installed the x.zip only from wp-admin (rather than FTP or SCP, etc).

    Any ideas as to the problem?

    I think I solved this one — ip whitelisting was causing this, now all working.
