PhilBeyondParticipantHi Joao,
No, there were no other plug-ins installed. I have deleted the button with a different method of setting the lightbox, which has solved the problem of the overlaying images, but I still get duplicate images in the lightbox gallery.
There should only be 10, scrolling from 1-10, but I’m getting loads of random duplicates in the gallery. Any idea?
Thanks for all your help so far! Great support from the X team!

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I believe I figured out what happened.
When you put the class folio-1 on revolution Slider it automatically add this class to all images inside, and on top of that you had at the bottom of the page that hidden section with once again the same images.
The lightbox also uses the images that are linked on the buttons.
So they were repeating as the buttons link to images that are already in the slider and that were also on the list at the bottom.
I have fixed for you, but now you have still the repeated for image. So the solution is to, use one extra picture that won´t be used on the slider and use that picture will be pointed as the href link of the slider button.
That way the images won´t repeat.
I have changed the class of the buttons for now in order that the images do not repeat. – If you would like to use the lightbox effect on the other buttons, you will need to create again that invisble section at the bottom of your page. but change the class folio-1 to something else and also duplicate the selector and change the class folio-1.
Every button will start with a different image and should be link to a different images, those images don´t need to be present on your bottom invisible section.
Hope that makes sense,

PhilBeyondParticipantOh no! Whatever you’ve done has made things worse!
The button within the Rev Slider is okay, but the second button now just moves back to the top of the page and the second button opens an image, no lightbox and no gallery. There was a third button at the bottom of the page which is now no longer showing.
I’d have thought this would be a lot easier than it seems to be. Not sure why it’s been so difficult to sort out.
I’ll have to see if I can put the site back to how it was before you ‘fixed’ the lightbox and see where we can go from there.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I deactivated those buttons in purpose.
Your setup is quite specific since you have many buttons launching the same lightbox + Slider Revolution involved and that is why it has taken sometime for us to figure out how it works.
Each button has to be linked to a different image.
This images should not repeat again on the list which is hidden at the bottom of your page, otherwise you will have the repeating effect on the lightbox.
Also on Slider Revolution the way you have setup all the images on the slider are getting the class folio-1.
So they will be shown on the lightbox.
So to setup correctly you need to follow some rules:
1) Every button has to be linked to a different image.
2) This images cannot be already present on Slider Revolution
3) The Button on Slider Revolution will link to an image which also cannot be present on Slider Revolution.
4) Any additional image should be add to the list at the bottom of your website, do not add any images that are already present on the slider or on the HREF of your buttons in order that you don´t have repeating images.
Hope it helps

PhilBeyondParticipantThanks, I realised you’d deactivated the buttons, but it threw me off. I have it back on track just about now.
So could a solution be to have:
One set of images saved and given a folio-1 (for Rev Slider); a second set of images saved and given folio-2 (for second button); a third set of images saved and given folio-3 (for third button).
Then in the Raw Content at the bottom of the page have:
[lightbox selector=”.folio-1″]
[lightbox selector=”.folio-3″]
[lightbox selector=”.folio-3″]with the classes set for 1, 2 and 3 in each section?
Would that work?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Yes that would work, but would make your page quite heavy.
Try and see how it goes.
Just have in mind that on Revolution Slider that button will link to an image that cannot be among the images present on the slider – if that makes sense, otherwise it will repeat.
Let us know if you need help with anything.

PhilBeyondParticipantRight! 95% there with this.
I’ve got the buttons set up with classes folio-2 and folio-3 with hidden images beneath them. They work fine.
The Rev Slider still has the href image duplicated in the background (which looks very messy on mobile) and it’s annoying me that I can’t find a way to get rid of it. That is set up as folio-1 class, with the images again hidden beneath it.
Problem will be we could be having around 100 images in the lightbox and they’ll be duplicated three times – which will be heavy on the page loading.
Is this the only way we can create three different buttons to link to the same lightbox images and not have duplicate images?
Appreciate your thoughts on this – and thanks for your help with everything so far!

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I believe there is.
Have you followed the instructions above and paid attention on the points I have highlighted?
The Slider Revolution Button Link needs to be linked to an image which is not present among the images on the Slider otherwise it will repeat. That happens because your link image and the images present on the slider will take the class folio-1.
In order that you can connect the other buttons to the same lightbox, this buttons also need to be linked to images which are not present on the slider or on other links.
I am almost 100% certain that is the way to go on your setup.
So Ideally would be cool if you had a few more picture to include.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks

PhilBeyondParticipantHi Joao
Yeah, there are five Slider images and ten separate Lightbox images. None of them should repeat, but I’m still getting a ‘ghost’ of the href image in the background of the lightbox gallery.
Also, do I need to have three lots of images hidden? They’re the same files, but obviously loading up three times. Any way round that at all?
We’re just about there I think!!

JoaoModeratorHi There,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. Last time we had a similar trouble that was the cause I believe.
You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
let us know how it goes
