Hi,
I am using the slider shortcode and I’d like to set the touch setting to false in order to disable mobile swiping – is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
DavidJune 10, 2015 at 6:39 pm #298506Hello There,
Thanks for posting in! The only way to disable the mobile swiping in the slider shortcode is to repack the jquery file containing the slider shortcode. You can find this file in the Cornerstone plugin
wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/js/site/cs-body.js
at line 4395. We would not recommend repacking the script because this will be overwritten once there is a plugin update.Thank you.
June 10, 2015 at 7:00 pm #298522Hi – flexslider has an option to set touch to false (https://github.com/woothemes/FlexSlider/wiki/FlexSlider-Properties#touch). I was hoping this could be added as an option in the slider shortcode, or at least some code that I could add to a child theme.

Thanks for your feedback! I’ll consider it as a featured request and will forward to our development team. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
Thanks!
