I noticed this on feedly.com this morning Hackers/Panama revslider and wondered if we can get an official line on this… Themepunch appear reticent to comment publicly so I am looking for info as may need to rework my sites if X is effected.

Thanks for writing in! Revolution Slider is an Integrated Plugin of X an we bundled this to give our users more values and freedom to get a premium slider for free and that’s it. If any potential issue arise concerning the security or anything else then Themepunch will let their user know about this and maybe we’ll do the same and notify our users. We’ll do this if and only Themepunch announce the issue officially. So it seems the article you are referring is not important at all to Themepunch so they are not responding to this. So we don’t think there is any potential issue with the plugin and might affect you. If you still feel vulnerable, you have the option to avoid this unless you get a announcement from Themepunch or you can directly reach to them to ask about it.
