Ying-Fu LiParticipantHi,
Am I the only one who doesn’t like the new way that search is implemented on the forum? It still doesn’t really use the key words that I type but it also redirects to threads that I have then to scroll through to get to anything related to my search.
No disrespect to the staff, as always your support is great. Just this little thing 😉

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for your feedback that we always appreciate. It’s using Google Custom search and as you know Google search engine provides the best possible result if you could use the right keywords to search. So make sure you are searching on proper way with proper keywords.
We are also working to make it better with some other features to make it more useful.
Cheers!

Ying-Fu LiParticipantOh, I use the proper keywords alright but the biggest problem is the results it gives. It used to give posts in threads as results, now it gives you individual pages of users ánd not with the keywords search result at the top.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. You can see the URL on search result and ignore such results. Actually when there is not enough result on the forum for your keywords then it might return such result. It would give best result if your search term matches the title of threads. Like “forum search issue”, “mobile menu doesn’t open” etc.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers!

Ying-Fu LiParticipantWell, it would be superhuman of me to guess the exact thread titles on this forum.

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
Forum is using Google search engine for the best possible results, few hit and trials will lead you to the desired thread.
Cheers!
