Hello i have this problem in 2-3 website which are using x theme,
Problem:
When i search for some keyword, i do not know if they have single search but it always redirect to single post.
I already read about it, that we can redirect to the same post on single result.
But i never found the filter for stopping this, may be it is the function you are using or may be default by wordpress, but this problem is a headache for me.Hello There,
Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site and it seems that you have heavily modified your child theme. You added search.php and this is the page WordPress will display when you do a search. Please check out your code on this page.

X does not do that out of the box. It lists search results in the search results page. It looks like a third party plugin or custom function is overriding the search results. Please deactivate all third party plugins and customizations then check again.
Also, WordPress not X includes basic search function out of the box. If you need a custom or a more advanced options, you will need search plugins such as Relevanssi or SearchWP. Please note that those are third party plugins and questions or issues arising from the use of them falls outside the scope of our support.
