    I cant seem to find how to add a custom search bar in my homepage. kind of like this: http://www.youtube.com/

    just not in the header but in the actual page

    Hey Juan,

    Make sure that you’ve updated your X Shortcode Plugin to the latest version 1.3.0 and then use following shortcode:

    [search]

    Im facing a problem when updating the plugin, when i try to upload the new file, x shortcodes 1.2.0 doesnt let me install 1.3.0 because it says the files are already created. Also, when I deactivate 1.2.0 it wont let me delete it. after downloading, how do I install 1.3.0? srry

    Hey,

    the best thing would be to connect with your ftp program and go to /wp-content/plugins/ and remove it from there. Then you can upload the 1.3.0 version.
