Hi. I love the theme, no doubt about it.
However I have a concern. I´ve been trying to create a portfoliosite for some video work.
I want the video to be displayed on the left column and some info in the right column.

The smartest way to maintain the text connected to each video when I browse my page on a mobile device is to create a new row for each video, with two columns. That way the video and the correspondning text will be on top of each other when im on a smaller screen, fine.

What I want to to however is to have the same overlapping image, with paralax behind the videos (ex. 4 rows).
I have been experimenting with removing “[/vc_row]” in the classic editor and sometimes it has worked.
http://www.kiljano.com/videos/travelstest/ – on that page i have manages to merge two rows and keep the picture behind.

But i have not been able to do this on this example page: http://www.kiljano.com/testx1/

Is there a way to keep the picture behind multiple rows?
Thank for all your help. You are the best.

    Hi Kilan,

You can define a class for the text block, then specify a background image for that class using CSS. As you said it worked here: http://www.kiljano.com/videos/travelstest/ But this page not found, can you restore it? So we can understand what you’re trying to understand.

    Sorry about that.

It worked with text, but I can always use the columnize shortcode for the text. But what im trying to do is different.

I want an embedded video and a text block in two columns , one row. Then repeat that for four rows but with the same image and paralax behind all four rows.

    Thanks!

    Hey Kiljan,

You can have the same background for your rows except that the alignment would be off if you’re trying to make it like a single image. Is that what you’re trying to achieve? If so, please use only 1 row.

    Thanks.

    Look now http://www.kiljano.com/videos/travels/
Lets say that I wanted the first image of the three rows with videos to stay behind the following to rows with paralax.

    How to achieve this?

Hi again. I think I have solved my problem for my self.

I found out by accident that I was able to drop rows into columns. I never tried that before. I think I can sort out the rest for my self now. Sorry for taking up your time. Thank you
