Laurie HParticipantHi there,
I’m using essential grid on the home page of the site I’m building. It displays correctly in Firefox & Chrome, but in Safari there are thin white lines down one side of each grid item (as attached screenshot)
I think the issue may be with the visibility…. .tp-esg-item.itemtoshow.isvisiblenow
But if I change the visibility to hidden in my style.css (in child theme) then the cover of the grid items does not display at all when hovered over. Can you please suggest a Safari fix for this problem?
I can send you wp login details if you need them 🙂 WP & all plugins are up to date.
Many ThanksApril 15, 2016 at 3:27 pm #884797

Rue NelModeratorHello Tracey,
I am another staff checking on this thread! I have checked your site in Safari (on Mac) and this is what I am seeing.
http://prntscr.com/atohlrWould you mind providing us the version of your Safari or perhaps a screenshot of what you are seeing so that we could have an idea of what is going on in the page?
Thanks.

Laurie HParticipantHiya
Screenshot attached. If you check the site using Safari 9.1 (mac) and adjust your browser window scaling up & down you should see fine white lines appearing down the side of each essential grid item box. This also happens in the ES demos in Safari…
Thanks:)April 19, 2016 at 6:47 am #889852
Laurie HParticipantSorry the screenshot was too big before, so here it is

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for the screenshot. I wish I could see this so that I can provide a solution for you. Unfortunately I can’t replicate this on my end too with Safari – http://prntscr.com/au86n4
I am sorry that it’s not possible to provide any solution as I can’t see the problem.
Thanks!

Laurie HParticipantHiya
Sorry for the delay. So you are looking at the site in Safari version 9.1 on a mac, running El Capitan (imac & tower)? The fine white lines are also showing on iphones and ipads (Safari) Can you please check also on all these devices. As I mentioned before, this problem also occurs in the demos of ES.
I do hope you can help resolve this issue soon.April 21, 2016 at 1:16 pm #894118
RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. Yes I have checked with Safari 9.1 (http://prntscr.com/av4dep) on iMac running OS X El Capitan 10.1..4.
Also tested with iPhone but facing this issue. However if you are facing this on demo as well then I think the issue either exists on your end or the plugin itself (that’s not related with X somehow as the demo is not on X).
Unfortunately we won’t be able assist you on this as we can’t even see the issue. I really tried to replicate this so that I could suggest you some code to fix this and it’s lot easier than writing you this. You can ignore this or test with other devices.
Thanks for understanding.
