Hello,

Using my mac computer, I created my own banner to span the entire background of my page headers using the revolutionary slider. I adjusted it’s size several times to make it fit perfectly. After a few months, it is suddenly too small. When I check my website on other devices, it looks fine. But on my Mac computer it appears as though the background doesn’t stretch to fit the entire screen width.

Can you please take a look and give me any suggestions as to how I can remedy this? Is it that I need to recreate the background image to be bigger? If so, what size? My website: http://stephanieldouyon.com/home

Hi Stephanie, I would love to help you with your issue.
To make the slider look full width on all devices go into Revolution Slider in your WordPress admin panel and click on the settings of your slider. There you will find a option called Force Full Width. Turn that on and your slider should look full width on all devices.

Thanks William. I tried your suggestion by selection Force Full Width but then my background image disappeared. Now you can only see the top layers of the slide.

Any thoughts on this?

Hmmm. That’s weird. How about going into your slide editor and see if the background settings are messed up. Make sure the background source is not set to transparent. Let me know what happens.

WOW…OMG that was it! I had the background on transparent.
