I’ve looked around and found a couple of posts on this and I’ve tried everything mentioned in them.
I can’t get Revolution Slider to save any changes that I make to a slide. The save button gives a link of “javascript:void(0)”. I’ve disabled plugins and uninstalled/reinstalled Rev Slider multiple times. Have run out of ideas. Here’s a link to the site:
Thanks for your help!
October 17, 2015 at 11:49 am #629317Hi There,
Could you please double check on your website?
I was unable to access:
In this case, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If it doesn’t work, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link login to your site
– WordPress Admin username / passwordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

Thank you for the updated admin credentials.
I created a slider x test to check. On adding layers, I encountered the issue and found the following errors.Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).catcomplete is not a functioninitHtmlFields @ edit_layers.js:1895t.init @ edit_layers.js:450(anonymous function) @ admin.php:6404j @ load-scripts.php:2k.fireWith @ load-scripts.php:2m.extend.ready @ load-scripts.php:2J @ load-scripts.php:2 edit_layers.js:2939 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).catcomplete is not a functiongetFirstStyle @ edit_layers.js:2939addLayer @ edit_layers.js:3944addLayerText @ edit_layers.js:3674(anonymous function) @ edit_layers.js:2157m.event.dispatch @ load-scripts.php:4r.handle @ load-scripts.php:4 6load-scripts.php:263 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'hasClass' of undefined(anonymous function) @ load-scripts.php:263m.event.dispatch @ load-scripts.php:4r.handle @ load-scripts.php:4m.event.trigger @ load-scripts.php:4e.event.trigger @ load-scripts.php:8(anonymous function) @ load-scripts.php:4m.extend.each @ load-scripts.php:2m.fn.m.each @ load-scripts.php:2m.fn.extend.trigger @ load-scripts.php:4(anonymous function) @ load-scripts.php:262j @ load-scripts.php:2k.fireWith @ load-scripts.php:2x @ load-scripts.php:5b @ load-scripts.php:5 load-scripts.php:263 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'hasClass' of undefined load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,wp-ajax-response,jquery-color,wp-lists,jqu…:263 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'hasClass' of undefined
Would you mind deleting your slider and re-install it again? And while you’re doing that, please disable all plugins. Clear cache, and disable caching plugin. Once you have re-installed it and still has this issue, then let us know. But don’t activate the plugins yet, we’d like to check that too.
Thanks.October 19, 2015 at 10:15 am #631173I followed all the steps and reinstalled the slider. Did you want me to deactivate all the core plugins as well? I was going to do that, but then realized the page wouldn’t work properly so I left them active. Still getting the same problem…haven’t reactivated any plugins yet.
Thanks for your help!
October 19, 2015 at 10:56 am #631222Hi there,
Thanks for writing back, I’ve checked your site and see saving works fine on the “slider settings” page on a per slider instance, but doesn’t work on the slide editor page only.
Can post some FTP details in a private reply please so we can further debug? 🙂
Thank you!

Thanks for writing back, I’ve just checked with the SFTP info and everything looks good, there’s no errors, the wp-config.php is fine, the .htaccess is fine, there’s no core modifications or anything like that.
Can you try un-installing the slider, delete all it’s option from the database via phpmyadmin, then completely remove all W3 Total cache directories and then re-install the slider and see if it works then. 🙂
Thank you!
October 19, 2015 at 1:15 pm #631433Just went through phpmyadmin and dropped all the revslider tables. Also deleted all the W3 Total Cache stuff I could find in FTP. Reinstalled a fresh copy of Revolution Slider…same issue. Can save general slider settings…but not individual slides.
October 19, 2015 at 2:24 pm #631518Hi there,
Thanks for trying, this is certainly strange, I’ve tried across multiple installs and still can’t replicate this anywhere else.
I see you have WP installed in a separate folder, and the index.php in a different directory along with the .htaccess, would it be possible for you to try it all in one directory, I have known that setup to cause issues in the past with other plugins.
If that still doesn’t work, can you provide phpmyadmin access in a private reply please, so I can check all values within the DB and make sure there’s no corrupted data.
Thank you!

Please fix your database first. Upon check your site, I get an establish database connection error.
Thanks.
October 21, 2015 at 10:34 am #634225After a few hours of trying to get the database reconnected I decided to do a fresh install in the root directory with a new database. Everything is working fine now.
Thanks for all the help!
October 21, 2015 at 11:03 am #634275You’re welcome.
Glad to hear that you’re able to sort it out. Cheers!
April 15, 2016 at 4:45 pm #884907I get the same error and the way to replicate is create a slide and then try to edit the size, it wont save
