    Is there a way to enable video backgrounds for mobile or just tablets? After all a lot of tablets are using wi-fi not data.

    Is this something X Theme specific, or is that revolution slider default?

    Hi Brian,

    Thanks for writing in!

    Background video is a feature by X. Background videos are disabled for touch devices. It could be possible to enable them with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

    hi I tried using a youtube video for as background and as cover video and it is not working on ios devices, on the background method it says api could not load, and on the secon it says no slides. my web page is madbricks.co

    Hi,

    As stated above

    We disable the video for a few development reason on mobile devices, among them are performance. When downloading this resources on mobile devices it can really get intensive, specially on lesser data plans. So we turn that off and in place of the video, you can take maybe a screenshot of the video or just something that works in place off it that will work on mobile devices and still give the same visual impact. But won’t take quiet big amount of data that it takes to download that video to your phone.
