I just upgraded to Revo Slider 5.0.4.1 and the formatting on my slider is broken. It’s been running for 3 months with no problem.

Running WordPress 4.3, X-Theme 4.07 with a child theme, on Integrity 1 stack.

    1) Do you know an immediate solution? Since the slider was packaged with the theme, I can’t get support on their site.
    2) Where can I find an archived version of the slider plugin to roll back to?

    Thanks for your assistance.

I tried to roll Rev Slider back to the previous version, and it doesn’t work. I guess I’ll try to hack to fix what’s going on…

Sorry, I searched before I posted and didn’t see that other thread.

Just to confirm I have found a workaround. In my case, what seemed to be reformatting was any text that used a custom style (SAVE AS from an existing style). So text frame by text frame, I selected, re-named the custom style, and re-applied it to other text frames. That was one part of the problem.

The other thing I did to fix this was to resize the text frames that weren’t wrapping correctly. I just grabbed the center right handle, stretched the frame, then resize it back to its original width. That seemed to do the trick.

There were some weird things going on with timing and effects that I had to fix as well. Fortunately, not too much time wasted and the client is happy again.

Keep up the great work on X!

    Hi There,

Thank you for sharing of your workaround. RevSlider v5.0 is a big update it’s kind of needed to update some of the settings of an existing slider.

    Cheers!
