    Hi

Do you know how I can get my social icons to appear in the top left corner of my home page please, just like on the website http://www.lumos.digital

As you will see form my website “www.tradercliq.com”, currently the icons find themselves in a strange place – yet I cannot seem to go any higher when editing the revolution slider template, nor can I go any further to the left.

Maybe it cannot be done through the revolution slider template…??

If not, do you know how it was done on the lumos.digital website which was built through using themeco ?

    Many thanks

    Gary

Hi – thanks for the reply.
Not sure if I have added the above suggestion correctly as nothing has appeared.
I added both parts of the above directly through “Appearance”, “Customize”, “Custom”, “Edit Global CSS” and then simply copied and pasted the above.

Is this the correct work flow please?

    Thanks

    Gary

    Hi Gary,

Thanks for writing back. No you are not doing it right. Kindly follow the reply carefully as it’s already explained well. You need to place the first block of code to your template using Child Theme and the CSS to the Customizer.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Cheers!

Hi – well I have to disagree somewhat. I finally managed to obtain the exact result by simply adding the social media icons into the actual revolution slider and making the icons “fixed” to the top left corner of the slide itself. No other coding required, so that’s a good thing 🙂 – after about 30 seconds of playtime you can see the result on http://tradercliq.com

However, as per this example website again “lumos.digital” made via Theme X, how does one get the 2 boxes in the top right corner “call back” and “client login” to remain exactly in a fixed static position, so that when you scroll down the page they do not actually move, though end up appearing in the main navigation bar ?

I currently am working on a client login button on my home page, but at the moment when you scroll down it disappears…

    Many thanks

    Hi Gary,

We have to add it in the footer for it to work. Since we have a fixed navigation and the revolution slider is static, positioning the element inside the slider will not work. It will only work while the revolution slider is on view but not when it leaves the screen even if we set it’s fixed. Position also depends on container. See this video screencast of adding fixed position.http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDf3Vx1GIP

Hope this helps and do let us know once you add it on the footer so we can check.

    Always,
    X
