Hi!
I have several installations of the X, some with V2.0.0 and other with V2.2.0, all with WP 3.9.1, and in all of them Revolution Slider sliding effects stopped working in Chrome (it’s updated), in Firefox and IE it works fine, which is pretty strange… The effects are defined correctly in the backoffice but despite the effect I choose, the elements only fade in, either in the backoffice preview or in the frontend.
You can see some examples here:
http://173.254.75.91/~caixorig/
http://173.254.75.91/~jfcar/
http://173.254.75.91/~lubritej/It’s very frustrating because it totally “kills” the dynamic effect…
What might be the problem?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,

Thank you for writing in!
All are working fine on my end, please ensure that you clear your plugin or browser cache after updates. Could you provide more details about your test? Like OS, version, etc.
Thanks!
July 24, 2014 at 10:57 am #73050Hi!
Yes, I’ve already cleaned cache, both from the browser and the plugin, and it keeps not working… Desktop OS? It’s Windows 7.
The strange thing is that I have other websites with other templates but using Revslider as well and they work fine, even on Chrome… The only ones that I cannot get them to work is with th X…
If you need a login for any of the websites I indicated above, I can create it.
Thank you!
July 25, 2014 at 11:26 am #73471Hi Richardo,
Thank you for writing in!
This is a bug in Revolution Slider that has been fixed in its latest version. However we update our bundled version in the theme releases. It’s not every time, because we take time to test for X compatibility.
Please also read our article on Revolution Slider.
Thank you for your understanding.
July 28, 2014 at 6:11 am #74360Hi!
Ok, I get it. Do you have any schedule for this update? The Revslider effects are very important for the websites we make, only having the fade effect is very limitative…
July 29, 2014 at 10:26 am #74883I have this problem as well. Rev Slider animations are working on Safari but they only fade in using Chrome. I don’t understand how I could have this problem when the animations on the demo sites work just fine on Chrome..
July 29, 2014 at 1:09 pm #74951Hey Richardo,
I’m sorry, No ETA. But I hope in next week we’ll release the latest bug free version.
Hi @kwondev,
Interesting, can you please point me exactly which demo link animation works fine in your site?
July 29, 2014 at 8:30 pm #75167Hey Support, turns out I was wrong. I thought the demo animation worked in Chrome but after taking another look, it only fades while the animations work fine on Safari. I am referring to integrity 1 at http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/. The “This Cool Video Header” and “Is Optional and Customizable” slides in from the left and right just perfectly on Safari but only fades in with Chrome. Also, another issue I have had with rev slider is that sometimes the text would not center perfectly when I refresh the page. The text would be off to the left. The issue goes away if I refresh the page, but I thought it might be helpful to report this bug.
To help illustrate the issue I’m having, I made 2 videos that I think would be helpful in resolving some bugs with rev slider.
July 30, 2014 at 7:36 pm #75688Hi Kwondev,
Thank you for letting us know 🙂
Watched the video and yes fade in animation won’t work, and with some alignment issue. Though, can’t really tell what’s the problem since we’re not the author of the plugin. And we have to wait until for announcement and fixes.
Thanks you for the head ups.
July 31, 2014 at 9:13 am #75987Having the same problem. Will we be notified via the WP admin that a new version is available for update?
August 1, 2014 at 2:15 am #76360Hi Kevin,
I’d like to apologise for the drawback but we’d still need to wait for the fixes as of the moment. We also post new releases and notify our users via a sticky thread as well on the main forum page.
