Hi. After updating to X version 4.2.2, Cornerstone 1.0.9 and Rev slider to 5.1.4, I am having trouble with all sliders. They were all working fine prior to the update. They work when I deactivate WP-Rocket cache, using Max CDN. Searching through threads about Rev Slider not working, I tried some of the things suggested (clear cache in plugin as well as directly purging the CDN cache, resave home page, resave sliders, etc.), but none of that has worked. As I said, it is working now with caching deactivated, but that is not a solution. In addition, with caching deactivated, the text on my homepage is not formatted properly. Here is the affected website address:
This site, which is a testing site, shows how the homepage looked before the updates:
corsatest.corsaguitars.com
Would you guys please take a look and see if you can figure out what’s wrong? I will provide you with admin access in the next post, marked Private.
Thanks,

Thanks for writing in!
Please keep in mind that after updating your WordPress, theme or plugins, you MUST purge your CND cache and if you have installed a caching plugin like WP Rocket, you always need to clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately.
Hope this helps.

Thanks,

You can find the latest version of Cornerstone under x/framework/plugins/cornerstone.zip.
Hope it helps 🙂
December 5, 2015 at 7:51 am #693269Hi. If I delete Cornerstone from the /plugins directory, then go to X – Extensions and install Cornerstone from there, will it be the latest version?
Thanks,
LarryDecember 5, 2015 at 8:00 am #693279Cornerstone 1.0.10 does not solve the issue.
Thanks,
LarryDecember 5, 2015 at 11:53 am #693470I was having a similar problem and tried all of the recommend points to resolve. All plugins up to date. So I started disabling. Since CDN was referenced – tried W3 Cache first – and then the Revolution Slider worked again. Have temporarily disabled it until Monday to permanently resolve. Maybe this info will help you.
December 5, 2015 at 3:33 pm #693600@mundsack, would you mind providing your admin login credentials in private reply? Or you should start another thread and provide your information. I’d like to check it too.
@Icorsa, as we always advice, do not use rocket loader. It loads javascript asynchronously without respecting scripts dependency. It loads in random order (smaller and fast loading script finish first, instead of loading first the important script regardless of size). Please disable them and then I’ll check again.
And please note that caches always causes issues during updates regardless of theme or plugin. Because it will simply serve older content while the site is loading the latest resources.
Thanks for understanding.
