Hi,

I’m building a site with a revolution slider on the homepage. I set it so the slider pauses on hover. However I noticed that the text layers I use in each slide don’t pause when hovered: they just run the cycle I set in the slider settings and disappear while the background slide remains. Probably overlooking something obvious but right now my mind is blank… 😉

Not sure if the text layer will also pause upon hover. Slider pauses when hover means that it will not load the next slide. Will try to check it further. Would you mind sharing us your admin credentials so we could replicate it our setup and recommend the best option how to fix it.

Hi there,

Pause on hover is for slider only. The visibility of the layers is different, you’ll have to set your layers time/delay equal to the slider time/delay length.

For example, if a slide’s time is 9 seconds and you set your layer to 4 seconds only, then that layer will be hidden even before the slider ends. The slide will pause, but the layer time will remain 4 seconds and it will still fade out after 4 seconds.

And that’s what happening in your layers. If you wish your layer to stay on screen, then set their delay equal to the slide.
