I know that most of the amazing slide in animation you guys have going on comes from using the visual composer (or code) and I find it really helpful to see how that is done in the demo content. What I am wondering is if there is a way to achieve the same kind of trigger for a revolution slider. For example I put a revolution slider halfway down a page and get it to not start until the user scrolls over it and it becomes visible. I want to do some more complex animation then I can get the visual composer to do and I thought this could be a solution. I have tried everything I can think of and googled like crazy with no luck. Sorry if this is super easy and a waste of anyone’s time to answer.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jason,

Thanks for writing in, this is certainly a really cool idea (and one we have thought about doing too)! Unfortunately, we have discovered the same thing as you that this is not possible. Upon page load, all sliders on your page will begin animating automatically and there is no way to trigger it based on page position or interacting with it. Might be a cool thing to submit to the Revolution Slider developers to see if they can accommodate such a request. 🙂

    Thanks!

Hi – it looks like your demo site does it? How were you able to accomplish that?

    Hi Nick,

Which demo are you referring to? (we have 30)

It might not be doing exactly what you’re referring to. Some of our demos don’t even use the revolution slider, but background images instead.

But, if it’s in a demo we could try to help you replicate the same effect.
