Hey folks! I’ve ready everything re: revolution sliders not looking in the forum here. But none of it applies or helps.

    • Slider is on Default Standard Slider for main settings.
    • General settings are set to Stop on Hover: OFF, Stop Slide After: OFF, etc. All set to OFF.
    • I have turned off all the plugins (except Cornerstone and Rev Slider) and that doesn’t help either.
    • Everything is up to date (CMS, theme, plugins, etc.)

I’m not sure what else to do? Can you please take a look? Thanks! Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Lauren,

    Thanks for writing in.

I checked and your slider is looping with 3 slides. I checked the setting and correct too. What browser and OS you’re testing it on?

    Thanks!

Hey there. I’m using Firefox…whatever the most current version is, I’m sure.
Using OS X El Capitan (Mac) version 10.11.3.

No caching plugins…but whatever was wrong seems to have been fixed with the Revolution Slider’s recent update release. Thanks 🙂

Sorry to say I was mistaken. This is still not working properly. Even with recent updates to the plugin, cms, theme, etc.

The slider DOES stop after a while for my client who is using OsX El Capitan in a Chrome browser. Again, I’m also on El Capitan, but using Firefox.

I think I’ve noticed the issue (an issue?)…when I migrate away from the website (if I go to another site page in a different browser tab) and then go back to the website, the slider has stopped looping and seems to be “blank” in that the text doesn’t remain…it animates out then we’re left only with the background image and no text.

Any thoughts on this? Please advise. Again, all themes, plugins and CMS are up-to-date as of today, April 21, 2016. Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back!

I’ve resolved this, by setting “next slide on focus” and disable “blur/focus behaviour” under Revolution Slider > edit slide > general settings > misc.

Let us know if there are any issues, we’re here to help. 🙂

    Thanks!

Hey there! Thanks for the advice, but I’m unable to find this section. I’m using Rev Slider version 5.2.5 (the most recent).

I clicked on a slide within the slider in question then clicked on GENERAL SETTINGS, but there is no MISC. area. Please see my screen shot.

Am I in the wrong area? Please advise….possibly post a screen shot for me?
    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Sorry for the confusion, these options are under slider settings. Please see the attachment.

    Thanks.

That seems to have worked (at least for me on Firefox!) I’ll have my client double check, too, just in case…but for now…THANK YOU!!!!
