Hello –
Please help me get the Revolution Slider to loop indefinitely. When I click away from the browser and go back to it, there is a white space in place of the show.
All installs are up to date.

Thanks.

Thanks for writing in.
I just turned off stop slider from your slider settings, and it should work now.
Cheers!
November 23, 2015 at 9:21 am #676002Oops – I forgot to mention that I already tried this setting as a way to fix the problem. It looks like the problem is still there.
Thanks.
November 23, 2015 at 10:43 am #676135One last observation – Mac Chrome, after a few seconds’ delay, will start to loop again when you return to the window. Mac Firefox doesn’t resume the loop at all.
November 23, 2015 at 11:31 am #676254Hi there,
I have checked the slider on Chrome and Firefox in both Windows and Mac and the slider is looping correctly. Perhaps you will need to clear your browser cache and see if it solves the issue.
Hope this helps.
November 24, 2015 at 8:04 am #677432Have you tried leaving the tab open, working away from it for a while and then returning to it? That is where the problem shows up. I can also see a repeating loop whenever I open a new tab or refresh the page.
November 24, 2015 at 8:55 am #677500Hi there @dlmorey,
Hope you’re well today and thanks for your question.
After testing I can replicate the same issue on your site and my test site, a single slide slider will not loop, if you duplicate the slide, and have it playing after the first slide has finished with “Stop Slider” set to “Off”. It should then work as required. 🙂
Thank you!
November 25, 2015 at 10:21 am #679086The slider has 3 slides in it, not just one, so I’m not sure how to apply what you are suggesting.
Thanks.
November 25, 2015 at 1:15 pm #679303Hi again,
You can try decreasing the animation time of the first and last slide. The Javascript stops when you change the tab in your browser thus stopping the slider. When you change back to the tab Javascript resumes on that site so it’s a default behavior of the browsers. You can decrease the animation time of the slides to fix the problem.
Hope this helps!
November 30, 2015 at 9:51 am #683897It does – I set the number of loops in settings>general to 0, and made my last slide end with static content still on the screen, rather than faded out.
Thanks.
November 30, 2015 at 11:38 am #684052You’re welcome! 🙂
