So revolution slider will simply not display all the slides that are on it.
It has worked fine until very recently.
I have tried making new slides from scratch on a different slider then using that one – result is still the same.
Settings haven’t changed in rev slider.
No new plugins have been installed.
Any thoughts or tips much appreciated!

Your other slides aren’t published. Please edit your slides and go to General Settings beside the Main Background tab. Then set the Slide State to Published.
Thanks.
January 28, 2016 at 3:48 am #768483Thanks for checking, I had unpublished that slide because it wasn’t showing and it was causing the whole slider to act strangely sometimes.
If you could look at the slider “backup of backup” That’s the one running on the home page. 3 slides are all published and it will only show the first two.
I’ve tried with completely different slides, all published sometimes up to 5 and it’ll still only show the first two on the home page.
Kind Regards

January 28, 2016 at 10:24 am #769012Hi there,
Thanks for writing back! I’ve checked the slider settings and each slide individually and all the settings are correct.
On your site, the first two slides only ever show on the homepage, but if I add the slide to another page, it works perfectly fine, which is definitely odd. It’s possible there’s some form of script conflict/styling conflict on the homepage, though nothing shows in the developer console.
Do you have a staging site or similar where we could do some further debugging without effecting the live site? As on the face of the live site, everything seems to be setup correctly.
Thank you!
January 29, 2016 at 7:38 am #770576Very odd indeed!
Funnily enough prior to most recent update, we hadn’t experienced any such problem. I’ll wait till the next update comes around and see if it runs ok after that, as it’s not the end of the world in the meantime. If no success we could revisit the staging site idea at that point?
Kind Regards,
N
