Hi!

I have a revolution slider set as carousel to display my instagram photos. It works perfectly but when I put my cursor on it, the pointer changes to a hand and I’m able to click and drag to change slides.

How can I disable that, and link all images to my instagram account?

Hi!

Isn´t that option (Slider Setting > Navigation > Touch > Touch Enabled) to enable swipe on touch devices?

Even if I disable it, is still possible to drag through the slides on pc. Maybe another setting?

The slider is at my sidebar, right at the home page. Instagram. I´ve cleared the caches.

I think this feature is “Drag Block Vertical” as I can see on their documentation – https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/navigation/#touch

Hi There,

I have tested and researched and that is the way Revolution Slider works.

I found a workaround if you are interested, but it has its limitations. You can add a transparent layer on top, of your slider and link it to your instagram account.

Positive side, it will work and take you to your instagram.

Negative side, won´t take you to every specific picture.

Let us know your thoughts.

If a cover my slides with a transparent shape, I won’t be able to move through pics when using a cell phone. Thanks for your help João, but I’m afraid I can’t go with this method.

I figured out how to Link my Instagram slides to the respective pic. I went to [Slider Editor] > [Link & Seo] > Enabled [Link] > [Link Type]: Regular > [Slide Link]: {{link}}

I really just wish to kill this “click and drag” option to change slides. I wanna users to use the arrows when on desktop.

Any help? Someone?

For carousel, it’s usual for the Revolution Slider and unfortunately we can’t control the functionality of a third party plugin.
