Amma1ParticipantHi, I know that you guys can’t give much support for Slider Revolution but I’m really struggling with something that seems like it should be quite straight forward..
I have some images that I was to overlay with a button when hovered over. I found and followed this tutorial online: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/create-a-tooltip-with-layer-actions/
It doesn’t seem to work. as soon as I hover over the text layer (after it has faded in) it registers a ‘mouseleave’ event for the image and the text layer fades out. 🙁
I don’t know how to fix this, I know you can only supply limited support for this type of question but please help
Thanks

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
I already made the thread private. I apologize.
Since you have installed a caching plugin WordFence and SuperCacher, please clear your plugin cache first before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Please let us know how it goes.

Amma1ParticipantHi,
Thanks for making the thread private 🙂
It was still having all the same problems even after clearing all the caches. I deleted the layers and started again but this time with the TOP RIGHT cover, creating a new label, redoing the css for it to make it look right and remaking the actions. Still it has the same problem with the hover.
It’s very clear what is happening. The ‘mouseleave’ is being triggered by the TOP RIGHT COVER fading in so it cancels itself out. Please help, I really need this to work.
Test it out for yourself (http://courierpaper.com/subscribe/) you can see that when you hover over the top right cover, the label usually doesn’t fade in, when it does it either starts fading in for a moment and then fades out, or else it fades in as soon as the mouse is moved by even a pixel.
Thanks

RadModeratorHi there,
The label cover the top right image, that means the mouse focus is on the label and not on the image anymore. And since the image is out of focus, then the mouse leave event is triggered. The solution is removing the mouse leave action and just add it to the label.
Please check the duplicated slider, I changed some its action.
Thanks!

Amma1ParticipantOk thanks,
I have put your duplicated slider onto the page but it still seems to not work right. The label starts ‘on’ and then fades out and back in again when you hover over it. but then it doesn’t seem to fade out again.

Amma1ParticipantHi, the login credentials should still be working.
Thanks

ChristianModeratorI tried changing the settings but it doesn’t take effect. Would you mind clearing all the caches and then disable all third party plugins while we investigate?
Thanks.
