Hello,
on this page https://www.sacredlifeclothing.com/sacred-life/ i am using revolution slider. As you can see it creates along with it a Grey background horizontally with the image. I’m trying to change this color to white like you have in your Ethnos demo. I have tried everything and cannot seem to change the color. can you please let me know how to do this?
Thanks,
Doug

November 14, 2014 at 10:48 am #145206In your REVOLUTION SLIDER SETTINGS > APPEARANCE > BACKGROUND COLOR…
Put your cursor in that field and you’ll get a color picker you can use to set the background color.
You can also enter TRANSPARENT in this field, so that your video background (which you set on the SLIDER SETTINGS of a specific PAGE) will become visible.

June 20, 2015 at 2:21 am #307712Tried that doesn’t work for me. I have a transparent background on my slider as well as on my blog demo page no matter which of the normal settings I have changed. Did the save and refresh. Nada.

I am trying also to replicate Ethos 1 background for the slider.
Problem is, if I choose white, it will go over the sidebar color, if I choose transparent it will be gray color.
How did you do to have the slider over the gray color of the sidebar while on the left side you have white?Thank you.

November 6, 2015 at 7:35 am #655149Hello,
It crossed my mind that I forgot to do put the domain
…
Website is spoofwoof.com. As you can see I am trying to mimic Ethos1.
Demo didn’t go through so I am starting from the beginning. So far I am stuck at the part where I want to have the white and gray color under the slider.
I also have one more question please. The slider you have is wider that the one I was able to create. I can’t get it to replicate yours. My slider has all standard options/type-standard slider/ slide layout-auto /background pictures-1024×768.Thank you,
AlinNovember 6, 2015 at 10:23 am #655315Hi Alin,
The size of the featured images in the Ethos Demo is 1200 × 800. If you have tried to import the demo content, it should automatically create the slider for you that is identical as what is currently in the demo. Would you mind providing us with the login details to your admin area so that we can check on your current setup and provide you with an answer. Thank you.

Thanks for providing the login details. Upon checking, the post slider isn’t displaying anything because in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Ethos > Post Slider – Blog, it is set to display featured post. We went ahead and changed the setting to display random. We also removed the category filter in the blog options in your customizer, Appearance > Customize > Ethos > Blog Options. Right now, the blog index is now displaying post items.
Regarding the background color of the slider, could please give further clarifications for that. Perhaps some screenshots would help us understand what is it that you are trying to accomplish.
If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Thanks!
