Hi!
I created a custom menu for my home page within the global static layer. However, I notice that it sort of fades in and out on some of the slides or doesn’t appear at all until the slides have looped. The menu itself is transparent and the menu’s text is white. I have included screenshots which should give you a general idea of the issue I’m experiencing.
My website hasn’t launched yet, but here is the link

February 6, 2017 at 3:47 pm #1360239I have included each image in separate messages due to your upload limit. This final image shows where the same rev menu have completely disappeared. I am currently viewing the site in Google Chrome. I’m not sure if this issue exists in other browsers. Can you please provide me with a solution that can eliminate this problem once and for all? Thanks in advance for your help.
My last question is how do I change the amount of time in which a single slide appears without affecting any other slide?

Thank you for the credentials.
I did check too using Windows 10 Chrome and it is not disappearing. See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbnjj56fnxFebruary 10, 2017 at 8:11 am #1365848Hi. Lely!
The disappearing comes and goes and I’m not sure why. Those screenshots are real. I just do not want to have this issue when my site launches. Can you please help me find out what’s going on? I also checked this link, but I’m not sure how or if it can help. I’m only having this issue with the global static layers.

February 10, 2017 at 3:31 pm #1366359Hi there,
Works on my end too, would you mind providing a video recording? Maybe we could use that for comparison.
Thanks!

Here’s the recording link.

From your screencast, I can see that it is just the transparent bar that is fading but then on your screenshot it is the login and logout link that is fading. Although I can’t duplicate both of it when I check. Now, it hard to recommend something when we can’t see the issue directly. What we can suggest is inspect the specific layer when it happens. Then give us the screenshot of so we can check further the styles added when that happen.
February 14, 2017 at 10:51 pm #1371390Hi, Lely!
It is happening with the global static layer only. All of the buttons, etc, are on the same layer. The screenshots and screencast show the issue that I’m experiencing. You can see the issue when you log into the site. It is set to go live soon so I am trying to resolve this as soon as possible. Whatever you can do to help will be great. Other people have posted in the forum here when they experienced a similar issue. Unfortunately, none of those solutions seem to work for me.
February 15, 2017 at 9:42 am #1372089The issue does not happen on my end just like my colleagues. It could be unique only on your end. I see you’re using lots of browser extensions. One of them could conflict with Slider Revolution. Please disable all of them and test again.
Thanks.
February 24, 2017 at 4:07 pm #1384711Hi, Christian!
I opened the site in Mozilla and I’m having the same issue, but now only on the second slide. However, the content on the slide did appear after the first slide show loop. So the apps I have attached to chrome might not be the problem. It’s really weird. Can someone please check that I have set all of my global static layers so that they do not have the fade effect in rev slider? Without the global static layers working properly no one can enter the site when it launches. I would like visitors to return, not leave because the site isn’t functioning properly.
February 24, 2017 at 11:50 pm #1385129Hello There,
Thanks for updating in! I have carefully checked your slider. Please make sure that the layers that is clickable like the buttons will be on top of any other layer like your bar. The z index must be higher than the other. You will need to rearrange the layer’s order.
And instead of using a jQuery link, please make it an a tag link. Please check this:

I have changed the clickable link on the slider to tag links, cleared my browser’s cache, and things do look okay so… far they are not disappearing, but am not sure what to do to go about making the other adjustments. Not really sure what you mean by on top the layer. I added the social icons and buttons etc to the menu bar that was created. How do I adjust the Z index and why do I need to rearrange everything to keep items from disappearing? All items are currently positioned where I’d like them to be.
