Hi Guys, so I’ve got a local copy of my site with the X Theme up and running. I went to create a slider in the revolution slider admin, and when I clicked, “create new slider,” I get a “no data received.” I tried this on several browsers.
I next uninstalled rev slider plugin, then reinstalled it. When I go to activate it I get the following error. Please help!
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Revolution Slider Error:fetch – Table ‘dtxdbarda.wp_revslider_css’ doesn’t exist

Please tell us what did you do before everything else. Did you copy your website from live to local?
If you can, please delete all Rev Slider tables in your database.
Thanks.
February 26, 2014 at 9:39 am #18105No started out as local. When I went to create an initial slider, I clicked on the revolution slider control in the nav (in admin) on the left. It showed me a page just fine. Then when I clicked on add slider, blank page.
February 26, 2014 at 9:40 am #18108So, I uninstalled Slider Revolution. Then reinstalled it, or tried to. That’s when I got the message I posted in the original.
I just deleted all the rev slider tables, and now I get this when I go to my local site:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘fetch – <b>Table ‘dtxdbarda.wp_revslider_settings’ doesn’t exist</b><br>—<br> Query: select * from wp_revslider_settings’ in /Left Bank/Production/Detroit Trading Company/dtx/www.dtx.dev/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/framework/functions.class.php:7 Stack trace: #0 /Left Bank/Production/Detroit Trading Company/dtx/www.dtx.dev/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/framework/db.class.php(22): UniteFunctionsRev::throwError(‘fetch – <b>Tabl…’, -1) #1 /Left Bank/Production/Detroit Trading Company/dtx/www.dtx.dev/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/framework/db.class.php(36): UniteDBRev->throwError(‘fetch – <b>Tabl…’) #2 /Left Bank/Production/Detroit Trading Company/dtx/www.dtx.dev/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/framework/db.class.php(127): UniteDBRev->checkForErrors(‘fetch’) #3 /Left Bank/Production/Detroit Trading Company/dtx/www.dtx.dev/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/revslider_params.class.php(42): UniteDBRev->fetch(‘wp_revslider_se…’) #4 /Le in /Left Bank/Production/Detroit Trading Company/dtx/www.dtx.dev/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/framework/functions.class.php on line 7
February 26, 2014 at 9:53 am #18113You can see even now I get the following when I click on Revolution Slider
February 26, 2014 at 1:16 pm #18198Hey Todd,
Have you contacted your host yet to see if there is anything they can tell that is going on with this file? Possibly it’s a permissions error or even perhaps your memory usages is too high?
March 7, 2014 at 7:15 pm #21457I’ve just purchased the X theme & am having a similar problem when trying to activate the Revolution slider on a local dev install. I’ve used Revolution slider standalone plugin on other local dev & live sites without issue.
The error is saying that the table for wp_revslider_css doesn’t exist. Should I open a separate thread with the full list of exceptions & errors when trying to activate the plugin?March 8, 2014 at 8:27 pm #21614Hi There,
can you try using our theme with rev slider on a live environment and see if this is happening also? It’s hard for us to troubleshoot this since we can’t replicate it on our end so if you have it on a live site we actually can get our hands on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
March 10, 2014 at 9:34 am #21937I’ve installed X on a live test server that is a copy of my local dev site & everything installs & works correctly, including the Rev Slider. I only seem to be having the issue on the local install, which is where the development & redesign must take place first. I will try removing all rev sliders tables from the database, remove all x related files completely & try to install again, seeing where that gets me.
March 10, 2014 at 11:39 am #21988Glad it’s working in live.
