Hello,
The links on the buttons of my Revolution Slider have just stopped working.
Do you know what the possible cause might be?
I am referring to the buttons: ‘I am new’ & ‘Member’
I have tried creating new buttons but that isn’t working either.

Please make sure that your button layer is the top most layer on top of any other layer. Because if it is and this is a bigger image on top of the button, you may not be able to click on it. You can edit your slides and go to Layer timings and sorting.
And I would also like to inform you that the username and password are not allowing us access; Can you please check and confirm that too.
Let us know if the solution helps?

Thanks for the quick response.
I have tried to make the buttons the top layer but no luck. The problem seemed to occur by itself without me doing any changes to that specific slide. I have disabled my cache plugin and other plugins I suspect. We are running the latest php and maxed out the memory our shared server will allow.
The login credentials listed work fine for me – could you try again? Otherwise I will make a new account.
Thank you for your help.
October 11, 2016 at 4:37 am #1211179Hey Chris,
Your static layer covers everything that is why you can’t click your buttons. Please remove each layer in your static layer to see what’s causing it. For more details about static layers, please see https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/second-steps/#staticlayers
Thanks.
October 11, 2016 at 5:08 am #1211215Hi Christian,
Yes it was a static layer. I found that the setting ‘Static Layers Overflow’ needed to be set to visible.
All sorted.
Thanks for the help.

Please edit your slider and see to it that the layer that is clickable has the higher z-index. It would mean that the layer is on top of other layers. A lower z-index means that it is way behind other layers. So if a center element is clickable and that it is behind other layer then you can no longer click on it.
Simply select the layer and drag it to the bottom to make the z-index higher or make it on top of other layers.
Hope this helps.
