Hey Guys,

So I am wrapping up the development of the site below and had started with Revolution Slider, and as I am close to wrapping up what I realized was my site was getting slower and slower. The funny part it was not just the home page with the slider but all pages. After a lot of testing plug ins I am using on and off and even replicated the site to a different server, the issue is Revolution Slider – The performance just sucks.

So I just installed Layer Slider – have at least the 4 images in place and performance on the site is much much better! But here is my question – I am trying to use one of their premium transitions and it tells me I am not licensed. There is an product activation button in the plugin and it states NOT ACTIVATED – should I be trying to activate or am I using a watered down version of the plugin? With that transition enabled my home page has this warning now saying premium features are only for activated users.

Hi Skeeter,

Thanks for writing in! Revolution Slider is quite a heavy plugin as it offers loads of options. So you might have to compromise the speed while using this. However these integrated plugins offers some premium features that’s not included within the bundled version. So you will need to get a standalone license from CodeCanyon and validate them to avail the premium features.
