Hey there,
Here’s the site I’m working on.
http://www.carlylovesamos.com/home/
Above the navigation bar, you’ll see that I’ve set up a revolution slider that is eventually going to autoplay. Should I come to you with questions about why the playback controls are still showing even after I’ve selected them to be hidden?
Thanks!

Thanks for writing in!
Even if there is a setting to hide the controls in Revolution slider, Vimeo doesn’t allow you to hide the controls. These are their responses regarding this issues:

Hey folks,
We will not be allowing the play/pause button to be hidden in embeds. However if you are a PRO member you can use the source file link to use your own custom player.

No, currently we do not allow for the hiding of the control bar. Since we don’t include ads in our player, it’s important that people know where the video comes from, and our controls are part of our brand. For more details about the video settings in Revolution slider, please check out this link:

August 10, 2015 at 2:32 pm #355264Hey there,
I have a follow up question.
On the homepage: http://www.carlylovesamos.com/home, is there any way to adjust the quality of the video? the video we’ve uploaded on vimeo is in HD, but when it plays in the revolution slider, it doesn’t show in HD.
Thanks!
August 10, 2015 at 4:48 pm #355373Hello Caleb,
You may try the aspect ratio or the type option here:http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/responsive-video/ or you may follow the Vimeo guidelines when uploading a video here:https://vimeo.com/help/compression
Hope this helps.
August 10, 2015 at 5:02 pm #355390Would that first option work if i’m placing it in the revolution slider?
August 10, 2015 at 6:52 pm #355470Hi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! Unless you-you have Vimeo Pro you won’t be able to play HD on embeds. It will ask you to watch the HD version on Vimeo.com. On your site when the video is playing, in the video controls try click the HD button and it will tell you to watch it on Vimeo.com.
You can try using Youtube of self host the video if you like. Both are also possible with rev slider. Hope this helps – thanks!

So on that homepage, I have the revolution slider set to full screen. Is there any way to make the video fill the whole space too? Right now, depending on the browser size, there is a black bar on the top and the bottom.
Caleb
August 11, 2015 at 10:03 am #356078Hi Caleb,
This is possible only if you are using background video under your Above Masthead Slider settings. As you are embedding a Vimeo video, we don’t have any control on it.
Thanks!
