Wordpress: 4.7
X Theme: 4.6.4
Cornerstone: 1.3.3
Slider Revolution: 5.3.0.2On my homepage https://www.anazaosalon.com I have a Revolution Slider above the masthead. I has 4 slides. Each slide consists of a background image cover with multiple text layers that slide in at different times during the 6 second slide duration. One slide also has text and images that have this behavior. After the text blurbs and a call to action button slide in on each slide they are set to remain visible until the slide duration has ended.
This all worked fine for quite some time after it was first built and launched many months ago. Currently, some of the animated layers in each slide aren’t loading as they are scheduled to and they are not staying visible until the end of the slide duration. This new behavior is also very randomized. I have checked in chrome (desktop & mobile), Edge browser, and Firefox. All exhibit the same behavior. No changes have been made to the slide show and when viewed in the plugin interface preview each slide works just as it is setup to do. Help! 🙂
December 9, 2016 at 10:59 pm #1288119Hello There,
Thanks for writing in! Are you using CloudFlare or may have installed a caching plugin like WordFence, W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache? Please keep in mind that after doing every updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
And since you are using SiteGround, could you please disable the supercacher in your hosting panel? The SuperCacher is developed by SiteGround exclusively for their customers. It increases the number of hits a site can handle and boosts the website loading speed. The SuperCacher includes 4 different caching options for maximum optimization of your websites. You can access the tool by clicking on the SuperCacher icon in your cPanel.
For more information about this, please check it out here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/supercacher/supercacher_intro.htm
Hope this helps.

January 3, 2017 at 1:31 pm #1314619Thanks Christopher, I just went through the processes that were suggested. SuperCacher has been disabled. Rue Nel mentioned Wordfence which I do have running but that is a security plugin. I’m not aware of any cacheing option for it. At any rate with caches flushed I am still experiencing the glitchy Slider Revolution issues I described in the OP. Any other suggestions?
January 3, 2017 at 2:47 pm #1314768Hi There,
I believe Wordfance also has a cache as well.
You could try turning of the plugin to test the results.
If that does not work, please provide your admin credentials in a private reply so we can take a closer look.
Thanks
Joao

January 5, 2017 at 1:56 pm #1317749Thanks Rue for that suggestion. Would you mind reading the previous posts that indicate that has already been done.
January 6, 2017 at 3:16 am #1318579Hi there,
Would you mind providing your SiteGround login credentials? The issue only appears when displayed on site front but works in back-end especially the preview.
And when logged in, there are javascript error which isn’t there when not logged in. This is only possible with cache.
Thanks!

January 13, 2017 at 10:28 am #1328918It is working now. Thank you so much. What did you find was causing the issue?
January 13, 2017 at 7:24 pm #1329429Hi there,
It’s the cache, I simply deleted the slider from the page then cleared the cache/transient, then re-added it back and it works.
Cheers!
January 18, 2017 at 1:57 pm #1335545Thank you much. I’ll go that route if it occurs in the future.
Regards!
