Hi!

We have a site running X that has a slider with revolution slider and was working perfectly until a few days ago.

Revo slider deactivated itself for some unknown reasons and its asking us for a purchase code but it was part of X install.

We tried to delete and reinstall revo slider but that didn’t work.

Thanks for writing in! Revolution Slider is an Integrated Plugin of X. You don’t need to activate it to use with X and there is no license key provided for integrated plugins. However if you want the premium features (premium slides, support from themepunch) then you need to purchase a separate license from CodeCanyon.

However regarding your issue, kindly remove the plugin from wp-content/plugins/ and install from X Addons > Extensions. If you still face any issue activating this then share your login credentials in a private reply.
